Tiki Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 10-Dec-2011
Fruit from the Upper Wairau Valley, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.05% alc. and 6.2 g/L rs. Brilliant straw-yellow colour with light green hues, this has a very fine, tightly bound and concentrated nose of passionfruit, gooseberries and minerals, expressed with great clarity. Dry, very finely proportioned with crisp, racy, cutting acidity, the palate has excellent drive with flavours of white florals, pungent gooseberries and minerals. This is concentrated but refined, with excellent zestiness, adding to a sweetly nuanced and long, delicately flavoured finish. Match with shellfish over the next 2-3 years. 18.5+/20 Sep 2011 RRP $19.95
