Tiki ‘Estate’ Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2016

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 05-Oct-2016
Bright strawberry-cerise pink colour with some depth, lighter on the rim with slight purple hues. The nose is fresh and up-front with bright fruit aromas of raspberries and strawberries along with lifted red florals and confectionary notes, unveiling subtle herb nuances with aeration. Off-dry to taste and medium-bodied, luscious and bright, up-front fruit flavours of raspberries and strawberries are enhanced by red floral and confectionary flavours, and show breadth and depth on the palate. The fruit is juicy and mouthwatering and flows along a light phenolic line, enlivened by zesty acidity. The flavours recede as they lead to a dry, fine-textured finish with light strawberry confectionary elements. This is a bright, up-front, raspberry and strawberry confectionary fruited off-dry rosé with mouthfilling and mouthwatering flavours and a light, dry finish. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes ant antipasto over the next 2 years. Made from 100% Pinot Noir fruit from the ‘Rewa’ vineyard in the Upper Wairau Valley, given 48 hours skin contact and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.8% alc. and 6.1 g/L RS. 17.5+/20 Oct 2016 RRP $22.99
