Tiki ‘Estate’ Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2015

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 28-Sep-2015
Bright, pale pink-red colour with light purple hues. This has an elegantly concentrated nose with a thirst-quenching amalgam of red cherries, strawberries and cream, quince and savoury mineral elements, unfolding nuances of fruit pastilles and delicate herbal hints in the glass. Dry to taste, the palate features bright, refreshing and vibrant fruit flavours of cherries, quince and cranberries, lifted by red florals along with nuances of herbs and minerals. The palate follows a fine-textured line, with lacy acidity enhancing the juiciness and sweetness of the fruit. Quince and mineral notes emerge, lending a mouthwatering flow, and the wine carries to an aromatic finish with florals and hints of confectionary. This is an elegant, dry rosé with bright and aromatic, juicy flavours of cherries and quince, and a mouthwatering, refreshing, minerally palate. Serve as an aperitif and with canapes over the next 2 years. Pinot Noir fruit from the ‘Rewa’ vineyard given 48 hours skin contact and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 5.7 g/L RS. 18.0+/20 Oct 2015 RRP $22.95
