Tiki Estate Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2011

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 10-Dec-2011
Bright pink colour with depth, and youthful purple hues to the colour. The bouquet is soft and ethereal with aromas of red florals, strawberries and raspberries, delicately lifted by fresh fermentation esters, all softly interwoven. Dry, elegant and with concentrated flavours of fresh raspberries and flowers, the palate features seamless, fine textures that bind the fruit with delicacy. Soft acidity complements the fruit core and presence, allowing the fruit to open out through the palate. The finish is moderately sustained and lighter in expression. 100% Pinot Noir from the ‘Rewa' vineyard in the Upper Wairau Valley, destemmed and given a 25 hour cold soak and fermented to 13.4% alc. and 5.5 g/L rs. An elegant and harmonious rosé with delicacy to serve as an aperitif. 17.5/20 Sep 2011 RRP $19.95
