Ti Point ‘Tess’ Hawke’s Bay White Merlot 2016

Rose from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 07-Aug-2016
Bright, pale pink colour, very light edged. This has a fresh and delicate nose with subtle aromas of strawberries and red florals, along with nuances of pomegranate and quince. The aromatics are clean, clear and pristine with a steeliness. Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses light flavours of strawberries and cranberries that form an elegant and slender core. The mouthfeel is bright and lively with lacy acidity and the wine follows a very fine, phenolic threaded line. This is thirst-quenching, and the flavours recede on the finish leaving light floral notes. This is a delicate red floral nuanced blush wine with a thirst-quenching palate. Serve as an aperitif and with dim sum over the next 2 years. Hawke’s Bay fruit gently pressed to limit colour up-take and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 7.8 g/L RS. 16.0+/20 Aug 2016 RRP $22.99
