Ti Point Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 28-Dec-2014
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, near colourless on rim. The nose is fresh and tightly concentrated with aromas of pungent passionfruit, cut grass and nettles lifted with esters elements. This has good depth and intensity, revealing soft green apple and gentle minerally notes in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, this has a good core of fresh passionfruit, nettles and grass, the flavours following a fine-textured, phenolic line. The acidity is racy and mouthwatering, enhancing the fruit richness and liveliness, and the palate leads to a long and sustained, finely textured, pungent finish. This is a concentrated, thirst-quenching Sauvignon Blanc with deep passionfruit and nettle-like aromas and flavours. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables, and goats cheese over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 3.13 g/L RS. 17.5+/20 Dec 2014 RRP $23.99
