Bright, lemony straw-yellow with light golden hues, light on the rim. The nose is elegantly proportioned with tightly bound and intense aromas of yellow stonefruits and subtle citrus fruits entwined with nutty notes and complexing oxidative elements. Medium-full bodied, this has a tight and concentrated core of citrus and yellow stonefruit flavour complexed by nutty oak and savoury caramel, toast and creamy barrel-ferment elements and nutty, oxidative nuances. The mouthfeel is dry with soft, fine textures and bright acidity lending drive and energy to the palate. This has good cut and liveliness, the flavours gently receding as the wine flow to a light, lingering finish of citrus and nutty hints. This is a dry, fresh, lively Chardonnay with stonefruit and complex, nutty, oxidative notes and hint of toast, caramel-like oak. Match with poultry and pork over the next 3-4 years.
