Thyme Hill Rosé 2021, Central Otago

Rosé from New Zealand - Central Otago & Waitaki
Review Date : 20-Feb-2023
Bright, even, pale salmon with a sheen of onion skin. The nose is gently full and lush, dusty talcum penetrating red berry, pomegranate, blossom and delicate spice. Medium-bodied, dry to taste, red berry and pomegranate aromas have a soft yet taut core, entwined with blossoms, clove and nutmeg. The mouthfeel is creamy, brightened by crisp acidity and fine dusty spices. This crisp Rosé shows juicy red fruit and spice on a smooth-flowing palate. Serve as an aperitif or match with pork rillette over the next 2 years. A blend of Merlot and Pinot Noir, 13.2% alc. 18.5-/20 pts (92 pts) Feb 2023 RRP $22
