Thomas’s Bach Martinborough Rosé 2015

Rose from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 19-Jan-2016
100% Pinot Noir from Martinborough, hand-picked, foot-stomped and cool-fermented to 12.0% alc. and 1 g/L RS. Bright, candyfloss pink with light purple hues on the rim. The nose is delicate with fresh and uncomplicated aromas of red berry fruit, pomegranate and cranberries, expressed with clarity, unfolding nuances of red florals. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate is crisp and mouthwatering with subtly luscious fruit flavours of pomegranate and cranberries. The mouthfeel is slippery and lively with refreshing acidity which carries the fine, dry phenolic line to a thirst-quenching, textured finish with red floral nuances. This is a crisp, mouthwatering and slippery rosé with delicate pomegranate flavours and a dry finish. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes and antipasto over the next 2 years. 175 dozen made. 16.5+/20 Jan 2016 RRP $24.00
