The Elder Martinborough Pinot Gris 2013

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 02-Dec-2014
Brilliant light straw-yellow colour with slight golden hues. The nose is fresh and clean with ripe yellow stonefruit aromas expressed with liveliness and lifted with white and yellow florals, along with a steely herbal nuance. Dry to taste, this is tightly bound, the mouthfeel steely and refreshing with good acid cut and bite. The flavours of white stonefruits are enhanced with mineral and lees nuances, and guided by a fine-textured phenolic line. Elegant in proportion, this has a refreshing, long finish. The is youthfully fresh and enjoyable for its liveliness and cut. 3-4+ years. 17.5+/20 Nov 2014 RRP $42.00
