Deep, purple with a ruby-red core, lighter purple on edge. The nose is full and elegantly presented, nuances of blackberries, black cherries and black plums have a strong core, interweave violet, black tea, an amalgam of spices and a hint of mocha. Full-bodied, bright aromas of blackberries, bramble and plums along with black tea, nutmeg, cloves unfolds red earth, followed by violet fragrances lend a sustained finish. The fruit is lush and bright, supported by lively acidity, draw a mouthwatering stream. Plenty of fine-grained tannins, supple and powdery, provides an elegant structure, underlined alcohol power and broaden senses. This harmonious black-fruited Malbec and Merlot blend possess red earth mineral, spices and violet details on a refined, supple tannin palate. Match with flintstone steak and beef short ribs over the next 8 years. 80% Malbec and 20% Merlot from an organic site in Gimblett Gravels.
