TerraVin ‘Eaton Family Vineyard’ Marlborough Pinot Noir 2009

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 06-Feb-2011
A paler coloured wine that was altogether more serious and classically structured. Based on the Dijon and Abel clones, this was tight and minerally with ethereal floral perfumes reminiscent of Chambolle-Musigny wines. The tightness and depth of structure allied with excellent acid tension constituted a core that will enable cellaring 6-8 years, over which time it should develop greater richness and flavour nuance.  Dec 2010
