Terrace Heights Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 25-Oct-2012
Brilliant pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, pale rim. This has a fresh, elegantly lifted and aromatic nose of soft gooseberry and passionfruit notes harmoniously intermingling, quite up-front and evenly presented. Dry to taste and light-weighted, gentle and intertwined flavours of gooseberries and passionfruit flow on a smooth and soft-textured palate. The fruit is stylishly expressed and has a soft and delicious juiciness, with good acid freshness and liveliness. The flavours subtly recede to a crisp, dry, passionfruit nuanced, moderately sustained finish. This is a light, approachable and harmonious Sauvignon Blanc with a gentle juiciness. Match with white meats, vegetables and salads over the next 2 years. Fruit from the ‘Terrace Heights Estate', cool-fermented to 12.7% alc. and 2.9 g/L rs. 17.5-/20 Oct 2012 RRP $18.95
