Riesling from New Zealand - Canterbury & Waipara

Bright, even, pale yellow with some depth. The nose is fresh and full, with aromas of jasmine, mandarin and tropical fruit mix. Medium-full bodied, medium-sweet to taste, aromas of mandarin and tropical fruit mix entwined with jasmine, frangipani and a touch of honey. The fruit is highly fragranced, overlaying the ripe fruit. Well-balanced acidity and sweetness provide a moreish closing. A flavoursome, complex, well-balanced Riesling. Match with bacon-wrapped scallops and chicken liver parfait over the next 6-8 years.
