Temple Bruer Langhorne Creek Shiraz 2009

Syrah from Australia - South Australia
Review Date : 13-Jun-2011
Very full, deep, near saturated purple hued, ruby-red colour, this has a very intense, fine nose of Dutch liquorice and spicy dark plums, and eucalypt elements showing ripe fruit and Langhorne Creek terroir. Powerfully fruited, with intense liquorice and plum flavours, the fruit is underlined by fine-grained, firm tannins and good, fresh acidity. An elegant, tightly constructed wine that will drink well with rich and spicy Mediterranean cuisine and flavoursome red meat dishes over the next 5-6 years. Certified organic fruit from the estate vineyards, fermented to 13.0% alc. Labelled ‘Preservative Free'. 17.0/20 Jun 2011 RRP $24.99
