Telmo Rodriguez ‘Pegaso’ VdT Castilla y Leon 2007

Grenache from Spain
Review Date : 18-Mar-2011
Blackish red in colour with ripe, ‘country' red berry fruit aromas, along with warm earth notes on bouquet. On palate, this is full of lush, ripe dark raspberry and plum flavours, the sweetness bolstered by some alcohol, and framed within a round, near rustic tannic framework. There is a friendly savoury game element, and it is very approachable now. 100% bush vine Garnacha from Cebreros, femented to 15.0% alc., aged 24-30 months in 400L and 500LFrench oak. RRP $79.90  Mar 2011
