Hand-picked 100% Tempranillo from bush vines, indigenous yeast fermented to 14.0% alc. Very full, deep, near saturated black-red colour. The nose is tightly bound and elegant, near slender, showing pure, ripe black berry fruits with minerally cut, unfolding subtle earthy nuances with aeration. Medium-full bodied, tightly concentrated flavours of ripe black fruits infused with minerals form a very fine-grained and packed core. The fruit sweetness is moderated by considerable tannin extract, the textures fine and powdery. The structure is prevalent and carries the fruit to a dry, firm finish with tar and mineral notes. This is a very fine-grained, tightly concentrated Toro red wine with plenty of texture and grip. Very dark, deep, black-purple colour, near impenetrable. This has an intensely packed nose of ripe black fruits with tar and liquorice aromas that unfold to reveal fragrant raspberry, jam, herb and earth notes. Full-bodied, sweetly ripe fruit flavours of blackberries, raspberry, liquorice and jam are enveloped by plenty of fine, grainy tannins. The fruit richness is well-countered by the extraction, with the structure and fulsome mouthfeel featuring on the palate, forming a solid and dense core. The flavours are carried to a firm, dry finish with bitter cherry and chocolate nuances. This is a well-structured Tor wine with ripe black fruits and jammy flavours.
