Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 23-Nov-2022
Bright, even, pale yellow with a light green sheen. The nose is softly full and elegantly presented, with aromas of passionfruit, citrus intermixed tomato vines, elderflower and sage. Medium-bodied, dry to taste, aromas of saline overlying passionfruit, lime and grapefruit, tomato vines, sage and elderflower. Fine-textured phenolics veil the palate in silk; thirst-quenching acidity enlivens the palate and lends a refreshing finish. This refined Sauvignon Blanc shows varietal and polished mouthfeel. Match with blue cod and steamed mussels over the next 3-4 years. 13.5% alc. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) Nov 2022 RRP $20
