Review Date : 20-Aug-2026
Moderately deep crimson, even colour throughout. The nose is gently full, with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, spice and milk chocolate. Medium-bodied, aromas of blackberry and raspberry, entwined with cherry, black pepper, black tea, cocoa and cinnamon. The fruit is succulent and well-balanced with lively acidity, unfolding perfumed black tea, spice and silky tannins. An approachable Pinot Noir with fine structure and dark fruit appeal. Match with smoked duck and lamb over the next 3-5 years. Handpicked, fermented in stainless steel tanks by blocks with an average of 22% whole bunch, cold-soaked for 7-10 days prior and 10-15 days post-ferment maceration, then aged in barriques for 11 months. 18.5/20 (93 pts) Aug 2026 RRP $34.95
