Te Pa Organic Pinot Noir 2021, Marlborough

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 22-Sep-2022
Bright, deep ruby-red, lighter on the rim. The nose is gentle, slowly penetrating aromas of red floral interweave blackberry, cherry, and a hint of pepper and spice. Medium-bodied, aromas of blackberry and cherry growing with savoury elements, entwined with red floral, cinnamon, clove and black pepper. The mouthfeel is silky with powdery tannin extraction. Lacy acidity provides balance, lifts the floral details, and lends a fragrant and long finish. This elegant Pinot Noir shows a fine balance of fruit and acidity, adorned by whole bunch floral and spice elements and a long, savoury, fragrant finish. Fruit from Omaka sub-region of Southern Valleys, handpicked, fermented in open-top tanks with 15% whole bunch to 13.5% alc, aged in new and seasoned French oak for 15 months. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) Sep 2022 RRP $29.99
