te Pa Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2016

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 07-Mar-2017
Bright, light strawberry-pink colour with slight purple hues on the edge. The nose is soft and gently concentrated with good depth of strawberry and cream aromas, along with lifted red florals and esters, and subtle notes of confectionary. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is crisp and clear with flavours of strawberries and cream, red florals and nuances of confectionary. The mouthfeel is slippery and smooth-flowing, with gently racy acidity, the wine flowing easily along a smooth line with a delicate, guiding phenolic thread. The flavours carry to a light clean aromatic, nuanced finish. This is a crisp, slippery dry rosé with flavours of strawberries and cream and lifted red florals, with confectionary nuances. Serve as an aperitif and with canapes over the next 2 years. Hand-picked Pinot Noir from the Bedford Road vineyard, Wairau, WBP and given overnight skin contact and cool-fermented with 5% whole clusters to 13.0% alc. and 4.0 g/L RS. 17.5/20 Mar 2017 RRP$19.99
