Te Mata ‘Woodthorpe’ Hawke’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 02-Aug-2011
Very pale straw-green in colour with a ripe English gooseberry fruited bouquet, pristine and pure with a softness to the expression. Dry to taste, this has a delightful lime juice varietal flavour, subtle, elegant and fine in presentation. Cool-fermented to 13.3% alc. and dryness, excellent fine richness is allied to the finest textures, and the result is a wine that is clear-cut, refined, but positive in drive and length with just the right amount of acidity.  Aug 2011
