Te Mata ‘Cape Crest’ Hawke’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2008

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 27-Jul-2014
Bright, pale golden-hued straw-yellow. The bouquet is full and bold with open and up-front aromas of green stonefruits, cooler vegetal elements and dark herbs. Quite gentle and plush on palate, the mouthfeel is open and accessible. Forward herb and vegetal flavours, grassy and cooler green tropical fruits flow softly and effortlessly, the wine quite mouthfilling. Oaking is unobtrusive and fully integrated. A cooler seasonal character noted here, drinking now. 85% Sauvignon Blanc, 11% Semillon and 4% Sauvignon Gris. 17.5/20 Jul 2014 RRP $N/A
