Te Mata ‘Cape Crest’ Hawke’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2006

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 27-Jul-2014
Full, light golden colour. The nose is softly full with deep layers of aromas of nectarines, greengages and dark herbs, fully integrated with detail emerging in the glass. Rounded and mouthfilling, this has a degree of robustness from grainy textures and a brisk and brash mouthfeel. The phenolic grip and racy acidity are signs of vitality, the flavours developing a spiciness. This has the weight and richness to meet the structure. Drinking well now, and with food. 85% Sauvignon Blanc, 11% Semillon and 4% Sauvignon Gris. 18.0-/20 Jul 2014 RRP $N/A
