Te Mata ‘Cape Crest’ Hawke’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2005

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 27-Jul-2014
Still pale straw in colour, youthful. This has a soft, dense bouquet with herbs and green stonefruits, subtle spicing with some waxiness and oxidative nuances from secondary development. Quite shy on palate with light, sweet fruit notes, rather an elegant and slender expression, with a tightness and leanness from crisp acidity. Palate leads to a lighter, dry finish with some toastiness. Restrained but still with fruit, in a leaner style. Drink up. 86% Sauvignon Blanc, 8% Sauvignon Gris and 6% Semillon. 17.0/20 Jul 2014 RRP $N/A
