A blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot fermented to 13.5% alc. Showing some garnet colour, this has a full earthy, gamey nose and broad, dense, inky palate with meaty, earthy tobacco and fruit-cake flavours framed in a round textured tanins. Very secondary and very Merlot in expression, but with plenty of life ahead. Drink over the next 6-8+ years.  Mar 2011
