Te Mania Nelson Pinot Noir Rosé 2013

Rose from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 10-Jan-2014
Bright, light purple-hued pink colour. The nose is fresh with tightly bound perfumes of red florals with red cherry and strawberry fruit aromas and a refreshing steely, minerally note. Nuances of confectionary emerge from the elegant but deep core. Dry to taste, positive flavours of red berry fruit, and strawberries and cream are lifted by confectionary notes. The palate is soft in texture and has a moderately deep core enlivened by underlying racy acidity that carries the flavours along a vinous line to a dry, strawberry nuanced finish. This is a light, soft but refreshing rosé with strawberry and cream flavours. Serve as an aperitif and with antipasto over the next 2 years. Hand-picked Pinot Noir fruit, cool-fermented in tank to 12.5% alc. and 5 g/L RS. Vegan wine, certified BioGro organic. 16.5+/20 Jan 2014 RRP $21.00
