Te Hera Te Muna Rd Martinborough Pinot Noir 2013

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 13-Oct-2014
Dark, deep ruby-red, a little garnet on edge. Fulsome nose, with complex layers of ripe dark cherry and berry fruit with herbs and earthiness, and distinct whole bunch savoury perfumes. Quite solidly presented with very good depth. Full-bodied, layers of complex and funky flavours with savoury cherry and berry fruits, and dark plum and raspberry richness. Earth, dried herbs, game and whole bunch interest. Good texture, structure and mouthfeel in support. 6-8 years ahead. A mix of clones, 10% whole cluster, wild yeast, 28 days on skins and 30% new oak. 18.5+/20 Oct 2014 RRP $40.00
