Te Hera ‘Reserve’ Martinborough Pinot Noir 2013

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 27-Jul-2015
10% whole bunches, a month on skins and 12 months in 30% new oak with a further 6 months in seasoned oak. Moderately deep purple-red, paler on rim. This is very elegant and refined on bouquet, tightly bound still, with a core of ripe dark red fruits, unfolding violet perfumes, hints of fresh herbs and minerals. Medium-full bodied, this has depth and penetration, elegant structure and a firm core and line. Attractive aromatic dark red fruits and florals feature. This is a wine of finesse, but has the concentration to develop well. 18.5/20 Jul 2015 RRP $42.00
