TattyBogler Bannockburn Rosé 2015

Rose from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 20-Oct-2015
Bright, very pale candy-floss pink colour, pale edged. The nose is very elegant and finely concentrated with aromas of strawberries and cream with subtle floral lift and confectionary elements, all harmoniously entwined. The nose has an underlying, refreshing mineral edge. Off-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly presented with good depth and fine intensity of strawberries and cream. The mouthfeel is soft, with a little fruit sweetness and juiciness and the wine flows along a fine phenolic thread. The fruitiness is balanced by lacy acidity and the flavours carry to a juicy finish with confectionary elements. This is an elegantly presented, softly refreshing and juicy rosé. Serve as an aperitif and with canapes over the next 2 years. Pinot Noir fruit from Bannockburn, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 5.5 g/L RS. 17.5+/20 Oct 2015 RRP $25.00
