Medium ruby-red with a light sheen of garnet, lighter on the rim. The nose is full and complex, with cassis, blueberry and plum aromas melded with dark herbs, cedar and spice. Full-bodied, cassis, red plum, red and blueberry aromas intertwined with dark herbs, cedar, nutmeg and cardamom. The mouthfeel is soft with dusty fine tannins carried by lacy acidity. Developed characters start to emerge and contribute complexity and interest. This Merlot/ Cabernets blend is elegantly assembled, displaying complex red fruit, spice and cedar development on a silky mouthfeel. Match with beef steak and mushroom over the next 5+ years. Handpicked Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, fermented in stainless steel open-top fermenters with indigenous and selected yeasts to 13% alc.
