Tamana Wairarapa Pinot Gris 2014

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 27-Oct-2015
Bright, light golden yellow colour with a light edge. The nose I moderately deep and rounded with aromas of savoury apricots and yellow stonefruits along with nuances of flint and chalky minerals. Nutty and honeysuckle elements emerge in the glass. Off-dry to taste and medium-bodied, light fruit flavours of apricots, stonefruits and honeysuckle show with a subtle sweetness. The fruit is carried by grainy phenolic textures with soft acidity leading to an uncomplicated, light stonefruit finish. This is a light off-dry Pinot Gris with a apricot and honied flavours and a dry, grainy texture. Serve with poultry and pork dishes over the next 18 months to 2 years. Pinot Gris fruit from the Wairarapa fermented to 13.0% alc. 15.5-/20 Oct 2015 RRP AUS$22.00
