Supper Club Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 27-Sep-2015
Even, light straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, pale on edge. This has a soft, full and voluminous nose with up-front and openly accessible aromas of pungent passionfruit and ripe tropical fruits. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the fruit flavours of passionfruit are sweet and luscious, and form a tightly bound core. The richness is balanced by chalky, minerally textures and lacy acidity lending a dry mouthfeel and grip. The wine follows a dry, well-proportioned phenolic line, leading to a long, dry finish with restrained passionfruit, tropical fruit and herbal flavours. This is a tightly bound, textured, passionfruity Sauvignon with a bold and upfront pungent bouquet. Serve with salads and vegetables, and Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Fruit from Dillons Point and Rapaura, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 2.4 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Sep 2015 RRP $14.99
