Supper Club Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 25-Aug-2013
Very bright, pale straw colour with slight green hues, near colourless on rim. The bouquet is full and softly presented with open and accessible pungent, passionfruit aromas, along with notes of tropical fruits and fresh herbs. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, gently mouthfilling flavours of passionfruit are nuanced with gooseberry, lime and herbal notes. This shows a rounded mouthfeel with subtle richness, the palate soft and slippery with moderate depth and refreshing acidity. A delicate textured line carries the flavours to a mouthwatering, dry finish. This is a soft-textured, gently mouthfilling, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with freshness. Serve with tapas, seafood and poultry over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. Winemaker: Nick Entwistle. 17.0+/20 Aug 2013 RRP $14.99
