Brilliant, pale straw-yellow with pale lemon-gold hues to the colour. The nose is light and elegant with delicate aromas of gooseberries, capsicums and limes, cleanly expressed with a steeliness. Dry to taste, subtle flavours of gooseberries, passionfruit and hints of exotic tropical form a good core with a little lusciousness through the palate line. The flavours a gently mouthfilling and have presence. The acidity is discreet and leads to a dry, moderately long finish with gooseberry fruit notes. This is an elegant, soft and dry Sauvignon Blanc to serve as an aperitif or with seafood, vegetables and salads over the next 18 months to 2 years.
