Summerhouse Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 01-Sep-2017
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is softly full and harmonious in presentation, showing a fine, concentrated core of passionfruit and fresh herbs along with hints of tropical fruit and snow peas, unfolding nuances of cut grass and nettles. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the fruit flavours are stylishly expressed with a softly concentrated core of passionfruit, herbs and snow peas with nettle and grass emerging. The mouthfeel is soft with subtly drying textures with integrated, but refreshing acidity. The wine carries with good depth and presence to a softly full, passionfruity and nettly finish. This is a very harmonious and gently concentrated Sauvignon Blanc with soft passionfruit, herb, cut grass and nettle flavours on a fresh, but smooth, dry-textured finish. Match with herb-marinated seafood and poultry dishes over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented to 12.5% alc. and 3.4 g/L RS. 18.0/20 Sep 2017 RRP $18.99
