Summerhouse Marlborough Pinot Rosé 2018

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 18-Sep-2018
Bright, light, peach-pink colour, paler on the rim. The nose is soft and delicate with aromas of strawberries and quince along with gentle red florals and nuances of mouthwatering herbs. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has an elegant core of finely bound flavours of strawberries and quince fruit along with red florals and thirst-quenching herbal and mineral elements. The flavours are light, but positive, and flow with good energy along a light-textured line with fresh acidity. The flavours carry to a subtle floral and strawberry nuanced finish. Serve as an aperitif, with canapés and antipasto over the next 2 years. Pinot Noir fruit, 51% Awatere and 49% Wairau, a portion direct to press and a portion by saignee, fermented to 13.5% alc. and 5.1 g/L RS. 16.5+/20 Sep 2018 RRP $18.99
