Stoneleigh ‘Latitude’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 10-Sep-2011
Fruit from the ‘Rapaura Series' soils in the northern Wairau Valley, cool-fermented to 12.6% alc. and 2.3 g/L rs. Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with pale green hues, this has a light, soft and shy nose of ripe passionfruit, redcurrants and capsicums. Dry to taste, the fruit expression is light and simply expressed, showing gooseberries, passionfruit and minerals, underlined by a lusciousness enhanced by the fresh acidity. A very correct and approachable wine that will be good aperitif drinking. Also, match with salads, vegetables and seafood over the next 2 years.  Sep 2011 RRP $26.99
