Stonecrop Martinborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 25-Mar-2011
A single-vineyard wine cool-fermented to 13.5% alc. Very pale straw-yellow colour with some green hues. This has a soft, full and gentle nose of English gooseberries and tropical fruits with an attractive lift. Dryish to taste, the palate is softly textured with sweetly ripe passionfruit flavours, lime fruit and nectarines. The rounded mouthfeel and medium weight enable accessibility, while the good acidity provides freshness and sufficient liveliness to make this a match with salads, vegetables, seafood and poultry over the next 2-3 years. 16.0+/20 Mar 2011 RRP $16.95
