Stefano Lubiano Tasmania Pinot Noir 2011

Pinot Noir from Australia - Tasmania
Review Date : 30-Dec-2014
Light red colour with pale garnet hues on edge. The bouquet is light with cool-spectrum red fruit aromas intermixed with gentle stalky notes, unveiling red florals with aeration. Medium-bodied, the fruit has more ripeness on palate, showing dark red berries and subtle herb elements. The wine is well-balanced with the fruit sweetness integrated with the lacy acidity and fine, supple tannins. The palate has linearity, the acidity carrying the flavours to a sustained finish with red berry fruit notes. Derwent Valley, clones MV6, 114, 115, 777, D5V12 AND Moorilla MS, ungrafted, indigenous yeast fermentation to 13.5% alc., the wine on skins 16 days average and aged 12 months in 30% new oak. 17.5-/20 Dec 2014 RRP AU$45.00
