Spy Valley Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2013

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 02-Sep-2013
Bright, soft, pale salmon pink colour, light on edge. The bouquet is fresh, with shy and delicate aromas of red florals and strawberries, lifted and with subtle perfumes. Dry to taste, this is very finely concentrated on palate with tightly bound, restrained flavours of strawberries and roses. The mouthfeel is fresh and crisp with a firm linearity, moderated by soft textures and slippery, racy, mouthwatering acidity. The wine builds in presence and the flavours blossom on the finish, unfolding gentle waves of floral interest. This is a delicately flavoured, racy rosé that grows in floral and strawberry interest. Serve as an aperitif or with Asian fare over the next 2 years. 100% Pinot Noir from the Southern Valleys, partially fermented in barrel to 13.5% alc. and 2.6 g/L RS. 17.5-/20 Sep 2013 RRP $25.00
