Spy Valley Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2012

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 11-Jan-2013
Soft, pale pink colour, lighter on rim. This has a delicate nose of strawberries and red florals lifted with gentle fermentation esters and nuances of confectionary and the faintest hints of fresh herbs. Dry to taste and elegantly proportioned, gentle, lifted and subtly sweet flavours of red berry fruits, florals and bon-bons are based on a soft and fine-textured palate. The wine flows smoothly and seamlessly, with discreet acid freshness and the flavours are carried to a light, moderately sustained finish with notes of strawberry. This is a soft and gentle rosé with attractive strawberry flavours. Serve on a sunny day with antipasto over the next 18 months. 100% Pinot Noir from sites in the Southern Valleys, fermented in oak and stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 2.2 g/L rs. 16.5/20 Jan 2013 RRP $19.00
