Spinyback Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 01-Nov-2015
Bright straw-yellow colour with lemon-green hues, lighter on edge. The nose is very fresh with tightly packed aromas of pungent passionfruit harmoniously entwined with limes and thirst-quenching minerals, unfolding subtle herb and tropical fruit notes in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly proportioned with good depth of passionfruit and gooseberry flavours. Floral elements and mineral nuances emerge. The mouthfeel is crisp and racy, the acidity mouthwatering and refreshing. The wine flows along a tight, fine-textured line, leading to a long, dry, tightly bound finish with passionfruit and herb notes. This is an elegant, tightly bound Sauvignon Blanc with gooseberry and passionfruit flavours and a dry, mouthwatering line. Serve as an aperitif and with seafood over the next 2 years. Fruit from three estate vineyards on the Waimea Plains, cool-fermented in tank to 13.0% alc. and 3.9 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Nov 2015 RRP $15.00
