Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with some green hues, light on edge. The bouquet is light and moderately concentrated with fresh, youthful aromas of white stonefruits along with herb detail and interest that integrates and grows in volume with floral and spice elements unfolding. Dryish to taste and medium-full bodied, the flavours of white stonefruits, florals and minerals are a little shy in expression, but the palate has good weight, presence and mouthfeel. Finely textured with soft, balanced acidity, there is some alcoholic power that provides solidness and drive on the palate, which leads to a sustained, dry finish with stonefruits, flint and spice nuances. This is a weighty, dryish Pinot Gris with restrained flavours. Serve with Mediterranean fare over the next 3+ years. Dryish to taste, subtly rich flavours of white florals and pears show with delicacy and aromatic detail, and form a moderately concentrated core. The palate is soft textured and possesses a slipperiness from restrained acidity, flowing smoothly and carrying the delicate fruit flavours to a light, clean finish with stonefruit and pear nuances. This is a light and attractively aromatic Pinot Gris with fine mouthfeel. Match with antipasto and first courses over the next 3+ years.
