Spade Oak ‘Voysey’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 21-Feb-2013
Bright, near colourless, pale straw with slight green hues. The nose is light, with fresh and up-front passionfruit, fresh herb and minerally aromas, the bouquet with some attractive pungency. Dry to taste and light-bodied, juicy and lush passionfruit and tropical fruit flavours are enhanced by bright and zesty acidity and fill the mouth. A textural thread emerges on mid-palate, and carries through to a dry, crisp and slightly grainy finish. This is an immediately recognisable, lush and passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc that has a dry, textured finish. Serve with seafood, poultry, salads and vegetables over the next 18 months to 2 years. A blend of 59% Rapaura, 20% Awatere, 19% Dillons Point and some Omaka fruit fermented to 12.5% alc. and 4 g/L rs. 16.5/20 Feb 2013 RRP $19.95 Disclaimer: This wine is distributed by ‘Wine2Trade', the company under which ‘Raymond Chan Wine Reviews' operates
