Spade Oak Vineyard Voysey Le Champ NZ Prosecco 2022, Gisborne

Sparkling Wine from New Zealand - Gisborne
Review Date : 26-Oct-2022
Bright, even, pale straw-yellow with moderately fine and persistent beads. This has a soft, fresh bouquet with a tropical mix of fruit, stonefruit and underlying apple and blossom. Medium-bodied, dry to taste, aromas of stonefruit, tropical fruit mix and apple have a taut core, entwined with delicate blossoms. The wine has balanced fruit and acidity and shows subtle richness; vibrant mousse invigorates the palate and lends a dry finish. This first release of Methode Traditionelle made from Prosecco grapes is refreshing and easy drinking with good balance and a dry finish. Serve as an aperitif or match with tacos and dim sum over the next 2 years. Prosecco grapes fermented in tank to dry, produced by methode traditionelle, one month on lees, disgorged, 12 g/l RS. 700 bottles produced. 17.5+/20 (89 pts) Oct 2022 RRP $25
