Sorelle Bronca Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry NV

Sparkling Wine from Italy - Veneto
Review Date : 10-Apr-2014
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, the bead very fine and moderately persistent. The nose is very fresh, clean and delicate with pure, subtle white and yellow stonefruit aromas along with pears and honeysuckle, revealing some herbs and nuts, the bouquet building in the glass. Off-dry to taste and light-bodied, the mouthfeel is soft and gently frothy, with restrained flavours of stonefruits, pears and honey. The fruit sweetness and residual sugar provides some richness to balance the fine phenolic line. This has a soft, focussed core that leads to a softly textured, dry and mouthwatering finish. This is a delicate, off-dry Prosecco with subtle richness. Serve as an aperitif over the next 2 years. 100% Glera (Prosecco) from sites in the San Pietro di Feletto and Vidor districts, fermented in stainless-steel to 11.0% alc. and 13 g/L RS. Lot L32611. 17.5/20 Apr 2014 RRP $28.95
