SOHO ‘White’ Marlborough Pinot Noir 2010

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 24-Jun-2011
Full, deep, dark ruby-red in colour with some purple hues, the nose is full and even and up-front, with bright dark cherry and raspberry fruit aromas, lifted with floral fragrances and oak elements. Medium-bodied and elegantly presented, the palate has a tight, linear core of raspberry essence-like fruit, framed by fine-textured and supple tannins. This will soften and sweeten over the next 4-5+ years. Match with roast duck and pork. Fruit from the Wairau and Brancott Valleys, fermented to 14.0% alc., and aged in new and seasoned French oak. Winemaker Dave Clouston. 17.0+/20 Jun 2011 RRP $24.99
