SOHO ‘White Collection’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 12-Oct-2015
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, near colourless on the rim. The nose is very fresh and fine-featured with restrained aromas of gooseberries, green stonefruits, herbs and passionfruit detail at the core. This has good depth, with mouthwatering mineral elements, that give way to blossoming aromas of passionfruit. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate features soft passionfruit flavours melded with yellow capsicums, tropical fruits and passionfruit. The mouthfeel is soft in texture and underlined by light, lacy acidity. The wine flows smoothly, leading to a gently rich, but concentrated finish with soft passionfruit flavours. This is a soft, smooth-flowing Sauvignon Blanc with gooseberry and passionfruit flavours. Serve with salads and vegetables, and Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Fruit from the Lower Wairau and Southern Valleys, cool-fermented in tank to 13.0% alc. and 3 g/L RS. 17.5-/20 Oct 2015 RRP $20.00
