SOHO ‘White Collection’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 13-Oct-2011
Bright, very pale straw colour with green hues. This has a light nose with delicate aromas of English gooseberries, savoury herbs and flinty minerals. Dry to taste, this is a medium-bodied wine with subtle gooseberry and passionfruit flavours showing clarity and purity. The fruit opens out gently and is enlivened by fine lacy acidity and textures. Fruit from the Wairau and Awatere valleys, fermented to 13.5% alc. and 4.0 g/L rs. A more subtle and delicate Sauvignon Blanc with clarity to serve as an aperitif or with seafood over the next 2 years. 16.5/20 Oct 2011 RRP $19.99
